How has the current "situation" changed your life?

I work from home full time, but now all my co-workers are working from home also. So that presented some bandwidth problems for a day or two once everyone went home. People having their kids at home has slowed down some progress on certain things. Luckily my little one is still going to Grandmas most days.

Projects continuing as planned, but may be delayed some. Work travel cancelled until further notice.

No eating out. Not been shooting although the ranges are open still.

Its given me a lot of free time to unpack and organize the new house and shop, which I still need to finish.

Joshb, G/F keeps finding stuff for me to do also. :(:( I work for a major bottler so we are on 7 days a week now running more water and teas. The plus side they are giving us $2.00 more an hour hazardous pay for the next month, to stay healthy and come to work.
The G/F doesn't understand I just chambered up a 22/6mmAI barrel and I am making brass ( I was fireforming in the garage over the weekend ans she kept saying the police are going to come because of all the noise, I put a hole in the garbage can and stuck the fire forming barrel in it to help keep the noise down, was still a little loud.
No eating out, but the local range is still open, but haven't got a chance to go yet, still finishing brass prep and then some test loads.

I became unemployed for the first time in my professional working life in Dec. Given I am retired USAF and wife has a business I was being picky as to what my final job would be. I could retire in two years but to meet the financial goals we have I need to work for another 5-10. Up through February there were lots of job prospects. All that is on hold now. Add to that my wife's business has dried up.

We are in no financial distress, but it will be nice for things to move back toward some kind of normalcy. In the meantime I have several barrels to chamber. I have the little brother to the lathe @Bamban has. I am just an amateur, but now I have more time. Also, my jazz band (I am lead trumpet) is on hold, and not only have the next few matches been cancelled the local range has closed as well. I also started flying again last Fall, and i put that on hold for a while.

I don't see a rapid economic recovery given the $2 trillion in Stimulus and $4 Trillion in liquidity that is coming. That said, I expect get a job this Summer and for jazz band, shooting matches, and flying to start back up.

What chuck is that? The previous pic had a 4 jaw.

That is German Rohm 6Jaw adjustable chuck. See those flange bolts on the back, I replaced the set screws that originally came with the chuck. Those 4 bolts adjusts the chuck like a 4 Jaw.

I did have a Bison 4J Combination in it earlier. The 4J combination has a scroll like a standard 3J, but the individual 4 jaws also adjust.

I am still working too many hours in my day job. Working 75% of the time from home but skype makes it pretty easy. Closed shooting ranges/no matches are affecting me and closed golf courses/cancelled tournaments are affecting my son. He is still fully engaged in his college education as all of his courses seem to be thriving via various online methods. My high school daughter hasn't had school for 2 weeks but they plan to have online school next week. Apparently college teachers can adapt to online much faster than high school. My son has moved back home but the apartment won't let him out of his lease so we're still paying rent. Fortunately he is still getting his athletic scholarship even though the season is cancelled so that covers the apartment.

My work in my shop is busier than ever and I'm still having trouble finding time to do work on my own projects. I do a lot of shopping online and what I buy locally seems to be readily available although reduced hours. The one thing I can't get is a haircut.

Started working from home 3/23. It's pretty boring, I can have phone contact only with the public. Right now I am caught up, as in waiting for consumers and shops to email documents to me. The difficult part is that I must be available from 8am to 5pm to take phone calls, Skype meetings and answer emails.
I am saving time and fuel on the normal 100 mile round trip to work each day.

Most everything around here including ranges are closed. I want for nothing supply wise. The utilities are on, the toilet flushes, the weather is ok , and all three vehicles have a full tank of gas. I am getting caught up on reloading, the best thing is my granddaughter is here visiting for almost a month. She loves to run the Dillon's, we are limited to BB guns in the back yard and we continue to work on her deadly skills.

No family or friends are sick. Life is good.

I am able to work virtually from home. That has taken some time to get use to. I am an estimator in finance and pricing at Boeing. Interacting with engineering, SM, accounting, production and many other groups is essential in my work. But starting to get into a rhythm. Miss my big computer screens.

Don't go out to eat and don't get take out. Last time we were out, went by the local drive up coffee shop and the girls inside were all handling everything without gloves, one was coughing in the background. Went to B-King and the guy bagging our order was wiping his nose and sticking his fingers in the fry container and dropping fries back into the bin after they dropped onto his hand while filling the container. Both purchases were dumped in the trash.

Needless to say, we are not going out and or getting take out. You don't know what the conditions are that you don't see. Also not purchasing any fresh veggies that are exposed to people in the stores. Won't tell you what I saw people doing. Things are bad enough here in Washington.

Wife is making masks to donate to the local medical and fire facilities. I am working on replacing the old dash on the flybridge, which meant I had to replace a lot of components. Going to look great. :)

Even though we are both home, I am eating less. When I was going to work I would go to the cafeteria for breakfast and lunch. As a result of eating at home, I have lost 3 lbs and spending a lot less.

I have loaded everything that I have supplies for. Still have a few thousand 45ACP cases but I have more than 3000 rounds loaded and all my cases are full. Loaded some of my .30-06 rounds for my M1 Garand, but ran out of supplies, have about 500 rounds in enblocs ready to go. Loaded up all my competition rounds for my FTR (.308 WIN). Now no place to go. :(

Spending a lot of time watching my DVD's. Watch the complete set of Band of Brothers again. Thinking about a John Wayne fest. :D

One thing I neglected to mention: I'm challenging both of my kids and everyone who reports to me at work to find something to accomplish during this quarantine that they wouldn't have accomplished otherwise. I'm starting to run again after 20 year layoff (I was a 2:40 marathoner when my son was born 19+ years ago). So far so good but I've got a little soreness in my left hamstring. I want to re-organize the shop but don't know if Ill find the time since the quarantine isn't creating much downtime. Kids are not doing a good job at identifying their goals but I have some ideas.

Gunshops were closed by our governor, deemed non essential. The supreme justice over ruled him and now they are open. Gas has gone down and is almost affordable even with our high gas tax. Everything is about closed. Stores and convenient stores are open, but some reduced hours. Had no trouble finding anything we needed. Wal Mart and the bigger stores are out of toilet paper. We went to an Amish run bulk store. They had plenty of everything. My Saturday night dirt tracks are closed, that I miss. There are no cases in our county. The wifes hospital in Phila called and said dont come for any treatments till this is over. Matt

Carlsbad ,I'm curious as how far apart the kids goals and your goals for them will be.:D Keep running cuz I'm pulling for ya ! Great time on the marathon too!

So far it hasn't. I generally stay home if I have ne place to go. I can still go to the range , it is still open, I reload when I need to, right now everything is pretty much loaded.
Only thing I can't do is go visit my 97 year old mother, memory care facility is closed to visitors, my hope is with her not seeing me she won't forget who I am completely.

Hasn't changed that much here. In spite of WA being near the top of the list with number of cases, most of that is on the west side of the mountains currently. And in spite of this virus first being detected in WA, WA is not blowing up to the extent that other states around the nation are. Hopefully this is due to prudent behavior on the part of people living here. One of those people is a well known F Class shooter here in WA. That Nursing home where this was first discovered is 150 yards behind his house. Perhaps he'll join in and tell us a bit about his experience.

Still, Inslee has the state locked down so no range time and the only real change, that others are seeing as well, is 24/7 coronavirus TV. In that we get to hear Inslee blaming Trump for the problems that we do have. Getting pretty tired of that crap from him as well as some of the other governors who are turning a pandemic into a political opportunity. Hopefully they pay for it in November.

I'm outside chipping winter dead fall or in the shop most of the time these days when I'm not napping (one of my favorite activities). Started building a CNC mill a couple of years back and finally bringing that to completion. Got the Z axis mounted with a 100:1 planetary drive yesterday so the Nema 23 motor now has the torque to raise the mill head. Too much torque really. Had to build some custom parts to connect the motor to the drive and the drive to the vertical shaft. Ran a test set of gcode that lifted the head to the top and sheared the pin in the coupler I made without tripping on amperage overdraw. Should have gone with a 10:1 instead of 100:1. Would have been plenty. Oh well, it works, or it will after I repair the coupler. Time to move on to the next stage of the project. Education surrounding tool definitions, getting a better understanding of g and m code, setting soft limits, job setup and then finally on to cutting patterns in various materials. Retired from software engineering 4 months ago and now find myself facing yet another steep learning curve. Damn, I hate it when that happens.
