I have found Starline brass to be good stuff, used it in many calibers .454, to .45-90. And 100% in my 6.5 Creedmoor 100% in the 6mm ARC, ARs as resized 6.5 Grindel and their 6.5 Basic cases sized to 6 mm ARC 1250 pcs. Works great, shoots small groups. One area I haven't used it is 308 win cause I have tons of Lapua both regular and Palma brass, a bunch of Lake City, and Winchester brass, but I would use Starline their too.

WOW ! Well, I got busy and started digging around to find my Starline box and realized I had already loaded it back with 5 different bullets. (20 rds. each) Hard to keep up with everything when I'm loading for 6 different rifles unless I'm on my computer with all my load data pulled up. (67 trips around the sun as well) Anyway, I shot a 3-shot group of everything in the box and well pleased with what I see. This was once fired neck-sized ONLY for these loads. F/L sizing going forward. Starline looks really good on this 260AI.

I just bought 1k Starline 38 SC..... and now i just gotta build me a 2011 to test this brass quality

About the same I saw when I first purchased my 260 Starline brass. Was about to get my neck turning stuff out to do a slight clean up but changed my mind when I saw it.

I hesitate to post this. I just received 250 pcs of Starline .260 Remington brass. My initial impression is........beautiful!!
Ran them through my neck sizing die and chamfered inside and out.
Weighed 20 pcs at random, resulting in what approximates a bell curve centered on 173.5 grains with a single extreme at 173.1 and 174.0 on each end. Neck walls were consistent to within the accuracy of my calipers (0.0005").
I have had similar results with their 6.5 Grendel.
Hesitancy is due their attractive pricing. Once everyone realizes what a bargain they are, I will have lost this source.

Been using Starline brass for 7 years now. All was 6.5 Creed. Took about 100 and resized them to 6mm Creed.
Still reloading them after 7 years and last year I annealed all of them due to the neck started to split on some of them.
Very happy reloader with starline.
Now federal brass, .224 Valk didn't last 1 year. I think I only got about 5 reloads then they started splitting necks....

Bill, it might've been answered already but how does your starline brass hold up to pressure compared to Lapua? Loading at top end BR pressures? TIA.--Mike

Same question for you, if you don't mind.I'm a lucky dog. Starline, Sierra and Grafs are all within 3 hours of me. I take a day and make a short road trip every once in a while. If I call a day or 2 prior they all have my stuff waiting for me.

Actually I can't speak about Lapua because I've never used it. I'm not one to just give an opinion about something I've not personally tried so I can't answer.
Nope, I tried Starline in one of my 260AIs and it seems to be doing great. I am loading at the top end with a couple of loads in both Lapua & Starline and I see no difference in the performance yet.
Great! I tried it some time back and it wasn't close to Lapua at the time. Since then, I've heard good things, so I'm gonn give it another try. Thanks for your feedback, Bill!

I ordered some pulled 243 win brass from Rocky Mountain Reloading and just received it yesterday. It was advertised as Winchester, but turns out that only 85 of the 250 ordered (268 delivered) were winchester. The rest are Starline. The ES of the weight is 1/3 of the Winchester. The ave weight is approx 10 grains more than the Winchester. So far I am happy even though I didn't really get what I ordered.
I have some Starline .38 Super brass that I've been loading for over 10 years, granted handgun brass doesn't suffer the same consequences when fired as rifle brass. I have newer brass I use also but decided to load some of the older brass up and not be concerned about retrieving it.
I mainly shoot handguns, so I have no experience with Starline rifle brass. Their handgun brass is great imo, very consistent, primer pockets are much more consistent than other brass I've used. If I was in a position to do it, I would be using only Starline brass, except for the factory ammo brass we shoot and recycle.

I tried it in 223. Was inconsistent compared to Lapua for me. annealed it after first firing and it did get better. I don’t think they anneal it.
