How do you clean your Noodle?

I posted this question over on Benchrest Central, I thought I might reach more shooters posting it here also.

I have a MT Guns Martini Mk III with a Harrel tuner and a J&J short slide. I have been taking the slide off the tuner after each range session to clean all the residue out as well as getting access to the Harrel tuner and barrel crown to clean it. I am VERY happy with the combination and the gun is shooting better that ever has. What I am most impressed with is how it has shoots ammo is that the combo has stopped unexplained rounds that in the past would drop low in the middle of a string.

I am concerned about getting everything back to the same "tune" after cleaning and reassembly.

What are you doing to keep your noodles clean and keep your same "tune"?

I use a bottle brush purchased from Home Depot, the brand name is by Quickie. Always unscrew the slider when you clean. Cut a 4" x 6" patch off a shop towel it doesn't have to be exact. I use Micro-fiber towel's from Costco there cheap. I spray brake cleaner on the patch, give it a few passes done deal. Screw it back on Note your tuner setting before the initial clean.)

I always take my tuner off when I clean, I know most do not follow this procedure. The barrel, tuner on both ends and slider are marked. I use the thick O ring from James on the slider. This hasn't upset the initial tune in any way, this way I can wipe the crown clean, use a nylon chamber brush already setup with patch to clean the tube in tuner, and a few strokes with bottle brush in slider and it's done. After the match I'll unscrew the slider and clean any excess in the tuner body where the slider screws into. It reads like a lot but it takes less than a minute to take the tuner off clean and back on.
