how do you clean your chambers?

How do you all clean the mops after your done? I’ll either spray them with brake clean or under hot water with dawn. If I could find them in bulk I would just throw them away after each use

I have some of those. Work good on the lug race ways but too big for my chambers and do not get the neck area. The stick isnt long enough. Not sure which size I have but they are hard like cardboard

I have the Dewey action cleaning kit. Works great

Did you see the link I posted above

They have different sizes. The .38/9mm ones work good for .223

The only part of my chambers that get dirty is the front of the neck where carbon fouling collects, which gets a normal bronze brush and/or JB treatment. The rest gets wiped out with a clean patch to make sure I don't leave any solvent behind.

Everyone has a good method and what ever it takes to get in there and clean that area, but I have found that Bore Tech Carbon Remover like D-4297 said, works very well to make short work of this job.

Bore mops work very well. I started using large cotton swabs from Amazon. They work very well in a chamber or pistol barrel. No metal holding the fabric to the 6" wooden stick.
