How do you bed this?

I found an unfinished project and before I purchase it I have a question. It is a Stolle Panda and with it is a S.G&Y aluminum block that goes under the action and is about 1"1/2 thick. My question is how do you bed all of that in the stock. Do you bed the big aluminum block first and then the action or do you bed the whole thing at once?

Probably better to bed the complete unit to be sure it is all level to the barrel channel...

Gary,

As Preacher said, better to bed the whole assembly so you can more easily control lateral, vertical and rotational alignment of the barreled action in the stock.
