How Accurate Are The Worlds Top PRS Shooters

We are fortunate to have so many options for the format we enjoy competing in. It will be interesting to see what Fclass and Prs look like in 20 years. My opinion, they both have provided substantial growth of rifle shooting and new products to the market since they started. Will that level of growth continue or will something else take their place?
Seams like there alway something new around the bend and that keeps it moving forward but I’ve seen numbers drop in all as it get hard to find supplies

Rhovee is ok. He did come shoot with us. He came to the 2k once too. He would not try the pine squirrel stew but thats ok. I get what hes saying but no game applies to actual field use. All the games have rules and we exploit them to the max. So a 20 pound 6mm with a brake with a bunch of sand bags does not really relate to anything we do in the field just like a 17 pound Br rifle doesnt. If we had a real hunter class, like 10 pounds, bipod, and 300 win mag minimum. Id be all about it. I love playing with true sporter rifles.
Dang, could we get down to 6.5 Swede minimum?

Horses for courses. They're all "easy" if you have the gear and are well practiced. I find the practical events require more regular practice as the skills atrophy quicker, they also favour younger competitors. You won't win in any of them unless you specialise. It's also about the person, some adapt to other disciplines quickly, whilst others can only do one well. In which case it's not about which event is better but which shooter is "better".

That's BS, I am Choctaw and have my tribal blood card. I am a red skinned Indian and proud of it. I ain't drinking whatever the woke folks are peddling!
Butch, I'm a card-carrying Choctaw too. I also don't get upset by the term Indian. In fact, I appreciate the distinction as a native American. I'm not as red-skinned as my Grandfather but fortunately, most Choctaws don't care about that. I think anyone that worries about skin color rather than character is crazy enough I don't really care what they think.

That is impressive shooting. PRS seems to get a ton of hate in some circles. While a PRS rifle isn't something I would carry to the field, the ability of some shooters to utilize it in difficult shooting scenarios is amazing. BR rifles, PRS rifles, and F-Class rifles are all going to be heavy to carry up the mountain.

I have shot PRS and F-Class and enjoy both for their unique demands, but I don't think one can lay blanket statements over any of these sports other than my knees hurt too much to be as competitive in PRS as I was ten years ago when I shot it regularly.

Have them go to a BR competition and show us how accurate they are. PRS is not as much about shooting skill as it is about finding targets in the wild of unknown distance, running, sprinting, twisting like a pretzel and firing from barricades and such while being timed!

If you want to see what the pinnacle of shooting, reloading and machining skills is go to BR.

If you want to play soldier with unlimited budget with gear no DMR or Sniper would have go to PRS. It is a cross between LARPING and CALL of DUTY.

If you want to be a real marksman I would recommend a combination of NRA High Power and High Power Silhouette.

Top F Class shooters often do poorly even national level champions in PRS. PRS is far too athletic and time oriented for most of the people that dominate F Class and BR. PRS is not about ultimate shooting skill! I am not aware of any top level BR shooters that compete in PRS. You need to have above average mastery of shooting to be competitive in PRS but you do not need world class shooting skill to win at PRS. Just like world class sprinters seldom do well in Pro Football but many world class receivers in Pro Football are high level sprinters but seldom world class!
Just say you know nothing about PRS without saying it. Lol

We all have opinions here. I might throw in live varmint shooting here in SW Idaho. Targets are 6" wide, 12" tall, and a sandy brown color. Oh, yeah, they do not stand still for more than a few seconds either. Every yardage is different as well. Locate one, then you have perhaps ten seconds to range it, get the rifle on target, and shoot.
Like would be dull if you all agreed with me.
Good shooting to all of you,

It does indeed. And, in some cases, you got a six month early release (aka the cop drop) to take a position for a PD in a large city; like District of Columbia...
I am getting depressed, let's talk about something more fun.
My St Louis Cardinals and my wife's Mariners both won tonight, and icing on the cake: the Cubs lost.
