Hornady one shot lube and primer pockets

I appreciate your posts. It would be nice to use a Dillon or whatever to help speed up the process at times especially on case prep. I just had my 10th back surgery so time in the reloading room is hard on me. Regardless shooting makes it worth it.
I’m curious what your wet tumble recipe is?
I use just enough water to cover the brass, a squeeze of dawn, about a .45 case worth of Lemi-shine or citric acid, and about two capfuls of Turtle Wax Wash and Wax formula. I run it about an hour. I used to use pins and the Lemi-Shine/Dawn mix but I hated dealing with pins and if you left it in too long it would ping the case mouths.

I always get a laugh from reloaders when they say that Hornady on Shot sticks cases. I don't understand the controversy. Its super easy to apply and doesn't even need to be removed.

I have probably loaded 50k with One Shot and never stuck a case. That includes range pickup 5.56 and precision Lapua brass. You just need to let the alcohol burn off for about 15 minutes before you size and make sure your dies are clean of any other sizing lube.

Invest in a package of Q-tips. Hint: do NOT EVER consider stealing a few of your wife's. I think my wife counts hers.

I tumble first. I make my own case lube with lanolin and rubbing alcohol and spray it into a gallon zip lock bag, I shake the brass around, then set it out and let it dry. Resize and then tumble again. I let the media clean the primer pocket.
