If I'm home, I'll get after it. Being a hunt and peck typist, I still may be beaten to the punch. Back when I went to High School, no one ever told me about computers and Al Gore inventing the internet someday. My thought was, when would I ever need a typewriter, much less typing skills? Seems like I was mistaken.M-61 said:When you sign up for e-mail notification from Midway be quick on the trigger to put the order in. Twice I've been notified about an RCBS Summit press and both times (within hours) I missed out and it was back ordered again.
They do have 243 available and I have one. I just prefer to fire the round first and then convert it. Probably not all that necessary, but may be easier to get more accurate measurements. Thanks for responding to the post.Bolt Bender said:I had the same problem when working with my old 6.5 Swedish Mauser. A common way to make brass for it is to convert 270 Winchester, so I got that one and converted it. If Hornady has one available in 243, get one and convert it. You might have to over expand the neck somehow so that the bullet can move freely. I used my 6.5mm K & M expandiron to do mine.
