Hornady LNL progressive press?

How to shim the drive hub and baseplate on the Hornady LnL AP. I'm going to try this. Basically, most benefit from inserting 4-8 thou shims to reduce plate tilt and jarring motion on rotation.
Turns out my LnL does not need shims, it's all good. But what really smooths the action down is using Lucas Oil Red&Tacky grease on the ram and hub internals. Way less jumpy action. Before, I was using super slick garage door lube which makes the ram glide effortlessly but maybe too smoothly... Maybe it really does need thick grease.

My LnL was not seating primers flush, they were high. A call to Hornady resulted in the tech suggesting I may need to ship the press back. He unded up sending me a new primer seater assembly. The new plunger measures 0.003" longer than the old. That should get my primers flush or slightly under I hope. If not, I'll glue a steel washer to the press where the plunger makes a divot.
