Hornady "AEROMatch" bullets. ????

Hornady match bullets are great for fire forming. Mainly good for minute of animal accuracy.

I was gifted some hornady lead bullets and even those don’t fly straight out of my lever gun.

Not knocking Berger, doesn't matter if there good ,
when you can't buy them.
Haven't even looked recently.!

Tried to watch a Hornady podcast about "accuracy" awhile back. It seems to me they were trying to tie precision directly to the E S and S D #s rather than whatever the target was telling them in which they never did show the target as far as I can remember. I may not have watched it to the end. Difficult to continue to watch something that you don't agree with what is being portrayed. "Bulletwise" I never seen a Hornady bullet group consistently with the likes of Berger or Sierra and even though I don't shoot competitively I suppose I shoot and test quite a bit more than the average shooter.

If you watched their video and disagree with their findings that seems perfectly reasonable to me. It’s the sometimes comically inaccurate reports of “what they said” from people that haven’t listened to a word are the ones I was referring to.

After watching a video test of the 105 Aeromatch by Impact Shooting, i decided to try these. Mid south Shooters Supply has a 25 piece test pack for $8.99. Have a new barrel to zero so thought I would try them.

I may buy one 100 to try them out - and possibly use them for fire forming if they didn't work out - but I'm not going to buy a 500 carton. I see Hornady are now offering 100 lots. Maybe...if we ever see them in NZ
