Hornady 62 ELD-VT 223 Load

What was the twist rate on the 20" gasser? This bullet is longer than a typical 62 gr bullet. I don't know by how much, but if it's closer in length to a 75 ELDM, but with a shorter, lighter lead core, it may well want/need a significantly faster twist rate than 1:9.

Any update on these? I just got in 500, plan to shoot them in a few different rifles. First up will be the 223 bolt with a 7.7 twist then probably a 22-250 with an 8 twist that loves 80gr elds, so I have high hopes.

Also, did you weigh your bullets? I opened up a box as soon as I got them and couldn't find one that was 62.0 grain. Granted, just a charge master, but i trust its repeatability. I grabbed 25, 80% were 61.8, with equal distribution a tenth either way.
