Hornady .264 123gr A-Max

Does anyone know if this bullet is still in production? I like using it and a lot of places are out of stock now. I don't need the ELDs and would rather now start all over again with load development.

The techs at Hornady will give you a clear answer.

Some of the A-MAX bullets (like the 208 grain .308", the 140 grain 0.264", and the 162 grain 7mm) that have been discontinued and replaced with the ELD are no longer listed on the Hornady site.

Since there is no ELD replacement of the same weight, and it is still listed on the Hornady site, I would bet they intend to keep making it, but a phone call to the Hornady techs would make sure.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it on the shelf recently, but I can't tell you if it was Bass Pro, Cabelas, or Academy.

The Cabelas web site lists it as in stock. Midsouth lists it as in stock also.

I did end up buying about 500 from Brunos myself. This lot seams to be more consistent. I hope they shoot better too.
