Hornady 168gr ELD 30cal info???

Does anyone have any measurement of this particular bullet?? or any load development testing accomplished yet?

Main looking for bullet bearing surface and OAL.

Boat tail length: .200”

Bearing surface length: .403”

Ogive Length: .672”

Try and load the .020" off the lands as that is where I have found the AMAX before it and the ELD bullets I am shooting now shoot best at.

Standard SAAMI spec for the cartridge in all my rifles. None are short throated.

My OAL to ogive is 2.170" and OAL to tip with my 168 AMAX is 2.835" to put me .020" off the lands.

Is that the same as the 168gr ELD?

Don't have any 168 ELDs to try but if the ELDs compared to AMAX in the other calibers I have tried stay true to the 168s then the difference won't be more than around .005".

The advertised B.C. has held true for me all the way out to 1100 yards. I am getting 2720 fps out of a 18" Criterion barrel. Sweet little bullet, just ordered 500 more.
