Try adding .5 grain to whatever powder load you are shooting now see what happens

In a 6br-improved, a half a grain will completely change your tune. Seeing that the load strings at 200 and repeats at 500 I would try to adjust seating slightly, maybe .003 on either side of where you're at. It will likely change the shape of the group to more roundish. If it turns the groups to a mess, the do the original seating with + and - a tenth of powder.

I think your tune is very very close. But horizontal can be because your tune is off just a little bit.

If it was my gun, I'd move the tune a mark and likely be just right.

Glad to see things might be coming back together. I recently took some sand out of my ears and found it helped things settle. The tail of the gun must have felt a little too loose in the ears?

It did, but I’m relatively new to this so I’m still sorting things out. All the advice is very helpful

Just be certain you don't notice vertical coming post this change.

If the bag is over filled, you may notice when you return to battery the crosshairs will be low on the target, as the tail lifts (Requiring you to adjust elevation) this can impact the way the gun recoils during fire, and definitely affects groups at distance for sure. In my case it added vertical to a group at a match. Was still good enough to win, but I expected a little more vertical after I shot it, and the target reflected that, following the shot order.

If your butt stock is sitting down on the flat of your bag between the ears you should be good. If it is riding up on the ears it will effect your shots. There is a fine line between too much and not enough.

That could be. Both days had wind, and as I could feel it, coming from 12 o’clock.

However, I didn’t put any flags out as you suggested so cannot say for sure.
