I was in Academy this afternoon, 3 box limit. I needed a box of 243 for a rifle I just put together and grabbed 2 boxes of 20 gauge since it was cheap. Most of the popular calibers were already gone. I have enough to last a good while as I have bought a little here and there for my handguns and AR's these over the years and I reload for most everything else in my collection so I'm not sweating this one.

The last few years, everything's been relatively cheap, 22 rimfire, 17 rimfire, free hazmat and free shipping, etc. etc. I was a Boy Scout and remember the old admonition, "Be Prepared". I hope everyone else is too.

This kills the little guy like me. I can't afford to go out and spend 25 or 30 thousand on ammo to stock up. Another day or 2 and my shelves will be empty with no where to restock,

I remember a few years ago when powder and primers were scarce. So, when it became available again I started buying 8 lb jugs and keeping at least two thousand primers of the sizes I use on the shelf. Glad I did. There is no telling when this will end. Couple that with the fact that the election will soon be upon us and there is no telling when this stuff will become plentiful again. I don't want to be caught with my pants down again.
