Yesterday I met up with a gent from another forum and made a trip to the range. He had never shot past 600 yards before and wanted to try 1000 yards.
He started off with his Tikka T3 Varmint in .308 and factory 168gr ammo. He was doing a great job smack'in the steel at a grand.
Amber then came over and decided to shoot some chickens with the AR and I broke out the 6XC.
After some dry firing to get use to the 2oz trigger he then put 5 rounds on target at 1000 yards.
Everyone was having so much fun shooting I decided I need to do some shooting too.
It was a great day to be at the range. I think we all had a good time and hope Darin comes out and shoots with us again soon.
