What Tika didn't mention was the delay in getting paid. After Tika was kind enough to forward the scope before receiving funds, I decided to send funds to pay for the scope from money in my brokerage account. What I didn't know was brokerage accounts don't transfer funds to a foreign bank directly. Each foreign bank uses a third party intermediary bank. The long and short of it was the bank in Ireland kept giving me the wrong code information and the intermediary bank returned the funds 4 times and, each time they wanted to charge me a return fee of $50.00.
I finally gave up and used my business bank to wire the funds. All in all it took about 2 weeks to get the gentleman his money. Not once did Tika complain or question what I was doing. We emailed each other giving updates and talking about my relatives still in Ireland.
The scope sent was as promised, in perfect working order and finally both parties have received what they bargained for. The only thing I ask is that Tika go into my account and give me a positive regarding the transaction. That, and when he comes out next year to shoot some Prairie dogs with me all I ask is for a good bottle of Irish Whiskey. All in all I think the damn banks are going to hit me with 2-3 transfer fees.
Lastly, If you have the chance to do business with Tika, have no worry. The man is a gentleman and good to his word. The scope, a Schmidt Bender 5-25x56 was worth every penny. Of all the scopes I've owned, this piece of glass is everything and more.

I did want to comment on one last issue which was the topic of discussion, honest people. I am delighted to be considered a part of this community. Ant and every time I've had a question, several members have emailed me and given spot on advise. Several individuals have gone out of their way to give a hand.
We owe it to each other to make certain the bad apple regrets visiting this site and worse, taking advantage of a member. That being said, if you run across one of these types, please put everyone on notice, his name address, telephone number, his social and if possible, what bar he frequents.
Word will quickly get out that this is not the community to try to take advantage of.
