Will the plastic bottles be HDPE or PET? Will the plastic effect the lifespan of the lube or chemical properties of the lube over time? I love this stuff but do worry I will drop a bottle. Just like a bottle of shellfish oil for raccoon trapping, tried using plastic but the shellfish oil degrades(odor dissipates).

Here's what I'd like to see: a small squeeze bottle with SS needle for applying a small drop in tight places. Refill from glass bottle.

Look at all the other (lesser quality ) brands such as Remington, Outers, etc., they all come in plastic bottles of various designs. Some leak, some don't.

I keep mine in a small Folgers coffee tub inside a small ammo box so it doesn't turn over and spill. If it leaks, it's still contained inside the coffee tub.

I put my Hobo oil into a needle oiler, and leave some in the glass bottle. Personally I think the glass bottle is cool. Makes it "different" and the color is neat.

Is the opening on the new bottle large enough to place a finger over it and get enough on your finger tip to lube a bolt? I like the plastic.

it has an orifice reducer in it. it can be removed if you dont like it but with it you can make a small drip

If you do go to plastic high grade is the key. I've had so many plastic containers deteriorate leaking the contents that they make me nervous. About a month ago I found a 4oz plastic bottle of jojoba oil deteriorated the plastic bottle and leaked out on the floor. What a mess. Plus I had a wife not real happy with me. But glass breakage is risky also. Heck I'll be happy if I live long enough to use the first bottle up at the rate it gets used. Couple drops go a long way.

I don’t like the flat top bottles with the small hole. Makes stuff drip everywhere you don’t want it. The best bottles I’ve seen are the pointy ones that KG12 comes in, but that’s probably dependent on how thick the liquid is (KG12 is pretty thin).
