Holy Hell.. what freebore for 105Amax!

Bought some 105Amax for my Dasher...

Seated one in and checked the depth... these 105's are real deep in the case. 107MK's sit with the boatail/body junction just slightly above the neck shoulder junction.. not the 105Amax.

I batched up 500, they are super consistant by bearing.

The 105 A-max usually requires .045 more FB to give the same bottom jam length....as you have discovered ..they seat in aprox .045 more when touching the lands...they seat very long,,but if your FB allows you to use em they shoot great..Roger

My 6BRX is setup for the 105 Berger VLD.
When I use the Amax the boat tail sits lower then neck
but I still get very good accuracy. You have to take the dough nuts out first.
Good shooting
