Does the dovetail on this action accomodate 11mm scope rings ? Thanks
Is it a 2500 XS ?Mine doesn't have a dovetail.
Butch, you must have gotten the last one, just looked at KSS and it is not there anymore. The only one I ever saw, I think (could be mistaken) the dovetail was milled into the action.MrG52D, According to Dan, it is the way they are sold. Check KSS website.
Correct George. I have three of them and they are all grooved. I run bases or a rail on mine. Better selection of rings that way. I have no idea what the groove is, as I have never used them.Butch, you must have gotten the last one, just looked at KSS and it is not there anymore. Mine is a 2500X and a single shot. I don't know about the XS and have not a clue about it. I didn't see the S when I made my first post.Is it a 2500 XS ?
What size are rimfire rings ? I had the impression that 3/8" dovetail was American and 11 mm was European ? Dovetail bases ? same as a Davidson base ? Thanks.Talked to Jerry last night. It is sized to fit “rimfire” rings. I would personally recommend just getting some dovetail bases and use some quality dovetail rings. I think that is what many of us do.
When did they start requiring you to enter your birth date to look at their products? I just hit the back button. It would be something like this.

It's like that on a lot of sites now, just hit the I am over 18 button. ( assuming you are over 18) Gunbroker is the same way. When did they start requiring you to enter your birth date to look at their products? I just hit the back button.
It doesn't ask if you are over 18, it wants your birthdate. Also it's 21 not 18.It's like that on a lot of sites now, just hit the I am over 18 button. ( assuming you are over 18) Gunbroker is the same way.
Even this site requires you to be over 18, "This Forum is for adults 18 years of age or over. By continuing to use this Forum you are confirming that you are 18 or older. No content shall be viewed by any person under 18 in California."
Its a california thingSeems like a totally insurmountable problem. If/When that happens to me I'm going to sign off and never speak that person/company name again. That will show them!
