Resurrecting this thread. I had a 2500XS that Jerry built for RFBR with a SS adapter. I think I’d like to have a repeater with this action. I realize that they’re not made anymore. So I’ll keep my eye out for a used one. The question I have is what mag does it use? Thanks in advance.

Sako P94, but they don't function that great. It was never really intended to be a true repeater. It was built to build an ir50/50 sporter that requires a magazine that holds at least two rounds, but everyone single loads them and just has the mag in to meet the rules.

Eurooptic has some of the older Stiller 2500XS actions in stock. I had a LGS order one 2 weeks ago. It's the one that uses Savage magazines. Mine was ordered on a Wednesday and picked up on Thursday. Not sure if that's what your looking for.

My mistake they are the Stiller 2500XR actions. Sorry, but they are still listed for $999 with rail, mag and bolt tools.

I don’t know anything about the XR but Jerry said that the XS was not what I was looking for. Not a real repeater, designed specifically for Sporter class, where everyone single feeds. I went a different route.

I have one of the 2500xr's. They are a true repeater. They can bee touchy on feeding and extraction. They are smother then about any rimfire repeater I have used. When they are working they are really fun to operate. I shoot rf benchrest with mine. I can run 20 rounds on 4 bull target in just over one minute . 10 shot magazines usually two mag changes with sighters. They are a nice action. Toms
