I thought I have read in the past that some powders are the same, like ramshot x-terminator and accurate 2230. There may be other examples. I wonder if the they would do away with one of them.
did not know was heading toward monopoly...He already took over distribution of Alliant.
I don't care who owns what . Who distributes what , or to whom .
They are a C corporation listed on the NYSE under symbol VSTO. Looks like they just bought Remington’s ammo business out of bankruptcy. Not sure of their major share ownerscurious who owns Vista Outdoors ?
I do and so do these guys.curious who owns Vista Outdoors ?
I know they store it under water it would make sense to ship it underwater tooThe questions was asked earlier about pucker factor / risk factor on a ship full of powder en route from Australia. My understanding is that powder is shipped in big vats that contain powder and water, and that this renders the powder unable to ignite during transoceanic crossing. Once on our shore, the powder is run through special driers to remove the water. I believe a big part of the shortage the last go-round was the limited capacity of domestic powder drying equipment. Plenty of wet powder in vats, not enough through-put in the driers.
I'd be interested to know if others have heard the same.
