Highest BC bullet in the 105 to 108gr weight class

The BC published for the Berger 105gr Hunting VLD is .545.

Is there another another bullet under 110gr that has a better BC and equal or better accuracy?

This could be an off the shelf bullet or one that had the better BC after trimming and pointing.

I am presently using the new pointed 107 SMK's. Just wondering what may be better as far as BC.

I want to avoid a faster than 8 twist.

#40Fan, I assume you are referring to the 110 SMK?

One of the best flying 6mm bullets for 600 & 1000 are the 103 Vapor Trail. I shoot them out of a BRA and they are very easy to tune.......Anyone know the BC on those......I honestly have no idea.

Regards
Rick

Yes, the 110 SMK. I could get them to shoot half decent out of a 8 twist with a lot of miles on it. But, I do have a 7 twist coming to hopefully give them what they need.

Don’t waste time on the 110 smk. 115 dtac is fantastic in a 1:8 twist if you have decent velocity 3k ish FPS.

I am shooting the DTAC 115 at 500 meters and I'm pleased with it. I do have some Berger 115 both the Target and Hunting version to try also.

I have some 125gr bullets on the way to try, again for 500 meters.

I could shoot the DTAC's at 420 yards but I would need to speed them up to get the best out of them and then I would have 3 different loads going, one for 200 and 300 meters, another for 385 meters and another for 500 meters, too much opportunity to mess up.

I'd rather find the best bullet for 200, 300 and 385 meters, which is what this post is about.

I did find this;

Hmm, don't seem to be able to upload the image.

It is a list of 6mm bullets, sorted by BC off a website. I'm not sure I can find it again.

Is this a typo?
