High viz front sight on revolver

I was out a couple days ago shooting a Ruger Blackhawk 357, and even with bright nail polish on the front ramp, I was having difficulty aligning the sights. Has anyone installed one of these on a Ruger revolver, and what are your thoughts/feedbacK?
Thanks. My 60 plus year old eyes are... fading to say the least.

I run a couple of Glock 17 clone builds that have the HiViz front sights and standard rear sight. Also in my 60s, it helps me pick up the sight in low light conditions a little easier. Great for indoor ranges and outdoor shooting.
My smaller(carry) builds are equipped with night sights both front and rear.
On a couple of my steel pistols, the front sight rib has been covered with a tiny piece of aluminum foil secured with glue. This made a big difference on the P-64s. Much easier to pick up the front sight as long as there is some ambient light.
I have experimented with nail polish and paint but did not really find them effective for my vision.

Give Fermin a call. He's the Ruger SA sight guy. His solid brass, brass bead, or King's style mirror sights might do the trick for you. Sometimes you just need the right profile, serrations, and width also.
