OSB was $32/sheet at Lowes today....................was about $7.50 this time last year.$875.00 later my building has 1/2" osb on the ceiling and walls. I guess I could have went without and kept saving for an 8lb. Jug of powder.

I grab 8 boxes of m855 at my local bps like once to 2x a month. Counted 45k rounds one dayI was just at Cabela's today and I was amazed to find a whole pallet (Shoulder High) of 5.56x45 ammo locked in the gun library with two employees. It seems that you can have 6 boxes (120 rounds) of ammo if you buy an AR-15. What about the rest of us? I've bought several rifles, pistols, and ammo at Cabela's and they show no intentions of allowing any loyal customers let alone the public to be able to purchase any ammo at all. I'm seriously thinking of canceling my Cabela's credit card if they're not going to treat me any better than that. I know who's hoarding the ammo and it's not me. By the way there wasn't any reloading powder, primers, and very few projectiles as well.

A LOT of stock market money out there people are cashing in.Yes restate is booming down this way and where I live in VA at my summer home it's as bad . Now I have talked to a few people the are building and they are having to downsize or cut a few things to be in a certain market now . And I have known a couple of people purchase 3/4 M sight unseen relying on information from the realtors . I see down this way people aren't waiting on realtors as soon as it comes on MLS they are driving to it . 2 weeks ago I was in that market again for purchasing . I had 2 sold out from underneath of me within a couple of hours on the market .And I was seeing the same people at different locations . In this market I have noticed cash is King .
It's only going to get worse as the inflation starts to kick in. 22% of US currency in circulation was printed in 2020, which doesn't include the most recent stimulus. History has shown multiple times what happens when you flood the market with money.
I don't have an air rifle so I'm not sure what "normal" prices, but I see lots of pellets in stock on champion's choice's website.Shot a bunch of .22 pellet gun yesterday. Thought I would re-stock and went onto Amazon and get same as last time. I shoot good pellets, H&N or JSB and the price has almost doubled since people are apparently now shooting more air rifles.![]()
That's why many merchants ask us to fill out satisfaction surveys. They are trying to figure out what causes us to "pull the trigger" on an order....overall lowest price, service and price, easy returns, etc., etc. My general reply is lowest total price. With the onset of states being able to collect sales tax for online orders, (thank you John Roberts!) that is another hurdle for online sellers to clear. Item price may be low, but if they charge sales tax, haz mat if applicable, shipping AND the all to present HANDLING charges the low item price is just a disguise to get you to buy hoping you won't check out all the other charges. The “Marketing” which is lying without consequences is gettin under my skin. 109 Bergers are 50% more than 107mk. Begers fly off the shelf. Apparently you can put lipstick on pig, stuff in a yellow dress, charge a premium and you’re golden!
