Just what you all wanted, another old geezer on the forum. I live and hunt in Idaho for birds and varmints. Just traded off my 50 year old Remington 222 for a new Cooper 223 to hunt sage rats. I mostly enjoy reading what you kids have to say. Stay safe and enjoy life. Bob

Thanks to all. Phil I live in Mountain Home. Dedogs, I hunt huns,quail,some chukar and pheasants. The chukar are tougher to hunt every year. Both because of old legs and much of my area was destroyed in recent fires.

Uthink Uknow, It was an early 60's Mod. 700. It had several different stocks,a Rifle Basix trigger and a multitude of different loads and it never really shot worth a darn. The local guy in Boise wanted over $700 for a new barrel so I just ran out of patience. I find at 68 my patience is not what it used to be.
