Herters 6MM Rem. brass

I am looking for 50 - 60 Herters 6MM Remington brass, fired or unfired. Anyone out there know where to look?

I have got to ask,why herters? I have alot of it in 22-250.

I understand that the 6MM brass was made by Lapua. I have a 40X chambered in that caliber and Winchester and Remington brass are the only ones available. I have contacted Hornady and Federal and they will not sell just the brass casings.

Ok, I have to ask. Even if Lapua makes Herters, which I've never heard before, the quality would be at Herter's standards and not Lapua's. Herter's ammo is at the low end of the quality scale and Lapua at the top. Why not just buy Lapua brass? If cost is the issue, consider buying however many casings of Lapua brass from Bruno's or another vendor who'll sell by the number of casings you want versus say 100.

I have used winchester and it is fairly consistent.If you do the prep work I dont think you will have a problem making accurate rounds.The remmy brass is not so good.

Herters reference brings back many memories of this company. At one time I was in the Army stationed in Minneapolis, MN and visited Herters on many occasions. I think that their brass was made by Norma, not Lapua.

I bought some brass from a friend a few years ago. Herters 222. It was marked on box match grade brass, made in sweden. So my guess was Norma made it as well.
