Who says you have to spend a lot of money on a custom rifle to get good results. I built a custom 6mm BR that shoots in the "0"'s!. I bought a brand new Rem. SS short action, a Shelin barrel, a Elk Ridge stock, and a Weaver T-36 scope. Bob Green of York, PA. did the smith work and he put on a Jewel trigger, this all cost me $1650.00 compared to $3500.00 to have some custom gun builder do it for me. Ho by the way I did the stock work pillared glass bedding.

That is a nice looking rifle. I've only heard good things about Mr. Green and hope to have him do some work in the future. Is that a walnut stock?

Yes, that is a semi-fancy walnut stock with a wax finish and the stock was total rough when I received it from Elk Ridge Gun Stocks. All the work around the pistol grip was done by me.
