That was my argument!!They should have scored your sighters.LOL
Well, it you look at the sighters everything looked good BUT I don't know if I pulled pushed or what, day was pretty overcast and rain (lite, like the beer). I'm still learning, and wondering (what caused this!!).Well, you screwed that up for sure. Lol did the light change, partly cloudy? Everything went low basically.
Next time when I do a record and it does that I'm going to the next record with correction that it has shown me and see if it holds true!!!Shoulda done a sighter, then just shot the rest for record.
But you know hindsight & all.
And us sitting in our armchairs.![]()
I'm not sure really, I'm still learning and that is something to put in my mental notebook to watch for next time BUT what about the sighters? I did a sighter then a record then a sighter and so on, doesn't make sense to me but hey so much nowadays doesn't make sense!!Did the sun pop out? That's what it looks like to me- varying light intensity.
What kind of sand do you have in your front bag? When you change elevation coarse sands like heavy sand will change poi. On nbrsa and ibs group targets going from the sighter to record target will throw the first shot if your bags are not right.I'm not sure really, I'm still learning and that is something to put in my mental notebook to watch for next time BUT what about the sighters? I understand that BUT if you go to the sighter and it is dead nuts on and go back to record and it is low then go back to sighter and its dead nuts on? See where I'm coming from? Had I just held high after the record and shot records I probably would have done better!1 click up would have helped.
Okay, here is what I'm thinking too, I'm not sure what sand it is but it needs to change!! It may be heavy sand. What kind of sand do you have in your front bag? The relationship of bag (F&R) and rifle is always the hardest thing for me to get right. What kind of sand do you have in your front bag? If you look at your sighters and your record shoots they are all on or low. If you came up a click you would have picked up a net of at least 2 points perhaps 3. You might have lost an x but points trump x's. On the sighter I would have shot a group to see what was going on as opposed to just single shots.Just my ideas.I understand that BUT if you go to the sighter and it is dead nuts on and go back to record and it is low then go back to sighter and its dead nuts on? There had to be something going on with the bags or the front rest or??????????
Thanks, I'll try it!If you look at your sighters and your record shoots they are all on or low. If you came up a click you would have picked up a net of at least 2 points perhaps 3. LOL Thanks I've had trouble figuring that out!!The solution is simple. In the future, just make sure that the shots you inadvertently put on the sighting target in the match as shown above, are actually the shots you put on your score target.![]()
