Camp Perry LR F-Class Championship "Great Lakes Championship"

I plan to shoot the MR Fclass championship at Perry this year and I am considering staying around for the LR championship as well. I shoot F-open and I am trying to make sense of the GLC program. From what I can understand the program lines up like this:

July 30th - 2 relays (701-702) of unlimited sighters and 20 for record in 30 minutes, then shoot off
July 31st - 1 relay (703) of unlimited sighters and 20 for record followed by team comp of 2 sighters and 20 for record, then shoot off
August 1st - 1 relay (704) of unlimited sighters and 20 for record followed by team comp of 2 sighters and 20 for record, then shoot off
August 2nd - Indiv Palma (709), unlimited sighters and 15 for record at 800, 2 sighters and 15 for record at 900 and 2 sighters and 15 for record at 1000.
August 3rd - Team Palma (726), unlimited sighters and 15 for record at 600, 2 sighters and 15 for record at 900 and 2 sighters and 15 for record at 1000.

Does that look appropriate to everyone and I understand it?

So individual LR GLC is 4 relays of 20 rounds over three days or four relays of 20 rounds. Palma Indiv (8,9,1000) is one day or 45 shots for record. Team LR GLC is 2 relays of 20 rounds and Palma team(6,9,1000) is one day of 45 shots for record.

I am trying to decide if 80 rounds for score over an additional 3 days or 125 rounds over an additional four days is worth taking the time off work (losing vacation days). I am used to shooting 100 rounds for score over a weekend, so I am having some trouble justifying staying for the GLC. Maybe I should just try to find a team and get more shots down range. Team plus individual shooters will get 150 record rounds down range over the 5 day championship.

Other people going to this shoot, please check my understanding and let me know if I am correct prior to my registering for this championship.

Feel free to weigh in on any of the above comments.

Mike,
Your right. Why not just shoot the regionals at Oakridge and Butner and save the penny's for the NATS?
Forget Perry, too much BS.

This is definitely a better team match agenda. Even the Fclass natls has a team day in the middle of it also before the final individual matches. But this has one less relay each day looks like. We have a group going so it will have to work regardless. I do like the shoot off part for fairness.

You interpreted it correctly. When I shot Perry in 2012 we were squadded with four relays in each match. At the end of the match the winner of each relay goes into a 10 shot shoot off. So if you win your relay you get into the shootoff for another 10 shots.

Actually I think they gave us 3 sighters in the shootoff, so if you make that far you get a total of 13 extra shots for the day. Who hoo :-\

If you aren't on a team, you could have several hours between your morning string and the shootoff.

That seems to just be out of order and easy to fix. If the shoot off was right after the individual then it would be wrapped up for those people.
