I inherited a .6ppc from dad several years back and I would like to start shooting this gun some. It's a Remington 700 action and the only stamping on the barrel is .262 neck and .6ppc. I would have to go through some stuff to see if he had bought any dies etc for the gun. I know there is 100 pieces of new .220 brass for it though and some 68 grain bullets. I guess my question is how do I determine the oal of the case and bullet seating depth of the gun, without having some fired rounds to go off of. I believe my dad was gathering up all the pieces to start shooting the gun before he passed away so I'm not sure if he has everything or not. I don't care to spend money on something I need. I just want to shoot the gun some and go to a couple shoots or something. Thanks for any help.
