Help with 20VT

It has taken a while but I feel confident that I am getting to the end of this effort. First I never found a powder/primer that gave me consistently low ES. I tested 2200, LT 32, CFE Blk, N-120 and N130 with nearly all small primers I could get my hands on. Never did get any Rem 7 1/2s. I also used three brass sources, LC-04, LC mixed from 88 to 93, and Starline. I could not detect a difference between the different brass when they were shot head to head. The only constant in the whole test was the LabRadar and I am sending it back to LabRadar for repair (if cost effective). The unit began giving me a downrange error message if I moved the shooting bench. Sometimes it would then record a shot that had not been taken, even with no one else at the range, and sometimes it would sit there till I fired again and it would record that shot correctly. I obviously question the results it was giving me but it never seemed to have an issue getting data on my shots. It failed to record only once in all of the shots. I recognize that there are more powders that may work well but I kind of gave up and decided to see what was the best of the best.

I took 4 loads that had performed well when tested and shot them head to head using the Starline brass and Fed 205 primers. One of the loads, from the 2200, was overlooked and never tested further. So I loaded up 5 rounds of 2200, LT 32, and 2 different loads using N-130. The 2200 and the LT 32 worked best with a 0.228 neck bushing and the N-130 worked best with the 0.226 neck bushing. The groups were tested at 300 yds and measured with Ballistic-X. Group sizes (recorded in inches) were; 2200, 0.784; LT 32, 0.847; first N-130, 1.635; second N-130, 2.373. Conditions on the test day were 55F, head wind at 5mph, mirage was fairly hard right to left. Our range sits in an arroyo and it has perpendicular branching arroyo's. Therefore we often get difficult localized side winds that explain the mirage. The groups from 2200 and LT 32 are great. I'm going to try to fine tune those two loads and see if I can improve them further.

I appreciate all the help you guys have given. The tests would not have been as complete otherwise.
