help me pick!

Two days ago I bought a raffle ticket and won a brand new Ruger mk.3 stainless 5" heavy barrel and me being a rifle guy, I am going to sell it or trade it off , so I went to the LGS and looked at all the cz's ..but I am having a hard time deciding so here are my options.
All are 455's
In 22LR they have:
1.varment with thumb hole stock.
2. Evolution.
3. Trainer.
In 17 hmr they had.
1. Varmint
2. American.
Now I aalready have a 452 silhouette in 22lr. Just to be said. Thank for you input.

Well, opinions are free, and here's mine:

As you already have a .22LR, it seems the logical choice (to me) would be the 17HMR in the Varmint configuration. I've got one with a Brooks trigger installed, and it shoots the Hornady 17gr V-Max right at MOA at 100. With its Leupold VX2 4-12X AO with LR Varmint reticle, it's pure death on both rock chucks and ground squirrels out past 250 yards from the bench. The American version with its light barrel would make a good walkabout rifle, but all my rat shooting is either from the bench or prone with a bipod, and the heavy barrel really makes a difference in the rat patch.



Also right now 17HMR seems much more available than 22LR, at least around these parts. Plus you'll really extend your working range with a 17HMR if it matters.

CZs are well made and good bang for the buck. I would go with the 17 HMR Varmint. Try the 20gr Game points. They shoot the best in my 453 Varmint.

Dose anyone know if they make the tacticool in 17 hmr? Or dose any have one in 22lr and how do you like it?

Whitakers had a special order build of 452 American in 22LR. That would be my recommendation if you are looking for another 22LR. Any 452 over any 455 all day long. Ok, except left handed. That might call for a coin toss.
