Help me decide what rangefinder to buy

I like to think I'm a halfway-skookum guy. I just bought some ear plugs that have Bluetooth, for instance. But I have no idea why anyone would want to "Bluetooth" their rangefinder when they are varmint shooting/hunting. What am I missing?

The Sig BDX system links the rangefinder to the scope which lights up the proper aiming dot for the distance.
