HELP IDENTIFY THIS ACTION ??? UPDATED

Anyone know anything about the Firearms Development Corporation in Paterson, NJ ?

Does anyone here own one? Know the value?

They were in business during the mid 90's and were located on East 24th Street. Don't know when they went out of business or if they have relocated.

I'm looking for history on the company. Anything you know would be helpful.

Here's some pics of their action.

The Firearms Development co. was originally made in Texas by Charlie Poff who was originally from Kentucky Around 1988. It never really took off extraction issues with the tapered lugs not many made. I am a little confused by the Paterson link to the co. unless Doc Palmisano was involved and took over the rights at the end of the co. Precision shooting had a write up on these during that era. I shot next to Charlie at Mainville when they first came out...

I tested some for Doc in the late 80's but they where Shilen D.G.A.'s I wouldn't guess to the value there were not many made I would guess 1000- 1500 total production...

UPDATE

The Firearms Development Company or corporation was started by Charles R. Poff Jr. during the 80's. Doctor Lou Palmisano purchased the rights of the company and marketed the actions under P.P.C. Corporation (Palmisano & Pindell Cartridge). Yes, the same gentlemen known for the PPC cartridge. The company was then located on East 24th St. in Paterson, NJ. during the 90's

I have this action that I bought 5 years ago and built 6.5 x 47L on after opening the bolt face from PPC. The action was still in box when bought and it has fired around 1500 rounds. It has worked very well and I will hesitate to rebarrel it again. The action was purchased from Clay Spencer when was retiring and has his name stamped on top of it. Not sure of value but feel it is a good action not great.
