What competition are you shooting? I dont know of any long range competition that requires multiple shots fed from a magazine.

Are you working on a gun for The Blast? Hope to do some shooting this week. Will be testing 70 gr VLD's and picked up some 69 TMK's today if the Bergers don't work.

I shoot 69SMKs way more than any other 22 caliber bullet, but 73 grain Berger's show far better accuracy. Plus they can be shot from a 9 twist.

I shoot the 73 bergers bt in my WOA upper at mag length. Actually I shove them in enough to clear the mag. It shoot consistent 1.5 - 2.25 groups at 500 yds. I shoots under .5" at 200 yds most days. I shoot this in groundhog matches here in Pa.

Yes......hoping I can go. I bought a CZ MTR rimfire last year along with the Rock River. I would have started much sooner on the AR, but I ASSUMED (I know, I know) that this load would work in my gun as well as the 2 others. I guess I could borrow my buddies AR if things get pressed. I need to decided soon as Sally said it is almost full!!. Are you shooting the match?

"The Blast"... 5 different classes ...Rimfire, AR 15, Factory, Tactical, and open. Clays shot out to 500ish yards. My AR is a tac driver with light bullets, but the wind will negate most of that accuracy. looking to find something to buck the wind better. The 85.5, even at 2650, uses 1/2 the wind as my 53 V-max's at 3300. AR has to feed from mag. I haven,t been, but they say it is BIG fun with GREAT people!!!!

Yes my son, a friend of his, and I are going. I have signed up to shoot AR, Tac. and custom. I feel pretty good with Tac and Custom but shakey on the AR.

The 77 SMK will be your best bullet imo. Load around 24.3 grns of Varget or a similar load used in xtc competition. Loading the 80 grain bullets to mag length is asking for trouble.
