I'm looking to get a couple electronic earmuffs and want to know what to look for as in quality, decibel ratings and stuff like that. Not looking for Bluetooth, just simple basic folding electronic ear protection. 100% clueless on this topic!

I like my rechargeable Walkers; I plug them into my vehicle on the way to the range just to make sure I have enough power.
Of course, having a pair of them is better still.

I use the battery powered version. It's easy to carry a couple sets of batteries in the range box...it's much harder for me to remember to take the muffs out after each range trip and charge them.

I have a pair of Pro Ears and a pair of Walkers. My Walkers are the most uncomfortable ear muffs I have ever used. They cut into the side of my head for some reason. The Pro Ears are awesome.

Try the gel ear pads if you haven't yet. In my opinion they made a world of difference. It's the first thing I put on a new pair of muffs...I wish they just charged an extra $10 and put them on at the factory.

MSA Sordin are the first class choice. Not cheap by any means but solid. Add the gel pads if you want max comfort. I've had a pair of the Supreme's for a really long time.

I bought some for my nephew, I believe they were walkers, and they took basic AA.

Walkers Quad, Axil Tracker and $60-70 Howard speight. I have and use all 3 and they’re all more than adequate, work as they should and don’t break the bank

Guess I’m either anti-social, cheap, or both. I don’t want to engage in conversations when I’m behind the trigger… so I double up by using plugs and muffs! When I did use electronic muffs, they were turned off when shooting. I don’t spend money on them since my last set failed…

I bought a pair of the Savior electronic muffs at Scheels. Very comfortable and work great. Around $40.
