Yes he has!
If you ask people to name the most planned, important, and significant event in human history you will probably get a variety of answers.
I can only speak for myself, but my answer would be the crucifixion of Jesus Christ paying the sin debt for us so that we can be reconciled with the Father and the Father's acceptance of Jesus's atonement for us by the resurrection.
It is a day we should all rejoice in since we have been offered the greatest gift of all, eternal life.
