It puzzles me however why the oldest Gospel, the Gospel of Mark ( 70-90 AD) in oldest known to us manuscripts (i.e. Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaiticus, ca.320-350AD) does not cover in chapter 16 the verses from 9 to 20, i.e. the ending about resurrection. The Gospel ends with the picture of empty grave. The current ending is included in later manuscripts from 5th century and onwards.
