Definite improvement in reduced throat erosion
My test barrel was a 6x284 with 115's at 3400 fps
Before coating, throat erosion was approx .0001" per 10 shots
With a new Krieger I rechambered, Throat erosion measured only
.010" total after 1200 rounds.
I am hooked on HBN simply for barrel life
Especially, when you have a hummer barrel you don't wish to loose after only 1000 rnds
