Scott Harris said:I've been using HbN coated bullets for a few years and think the main/sole benefit is more accurate shots before cleaning is needed. To me, this is a major benefit worth the minor amount of work involved. I see many people complaining about their accuracy degrading over the course of an F-class match (real or perceived....not sure). But, this prompts them to clean every day or even more often. Personally, I think over-cleaning causes its own problems and if HbN reduces the need to clean, that is a big plus. We've shot over 400 rounds between cleanings on our 284 Shehane many times and some of the best performances have been the very last string. So, we like the results and plan to keep coating those bullets.
