It's in the price one way or another. My point is the vendor does not have to recover all of his HAZ cost. UPS lists the present HAZ charge as $51. I do not believe any vendor charges $51.

With this Haz mat increase and the previous UPS & FedEx policy change regarding an individual shipping firearms. Does anyone really think these changes were not the result of government “influence”?Gunmint, remember how “they” forced social media to do certain things ( censor)? Although “they” probably didn’t have to twist their arms too much.
I’m not sure that the influence stops at the church door anymore. With this Haz mat increase and the previous UPS & FedEx policy change regarding an individual shipping firearms. Does anyone really think these changes were not the result of government “influence”?
God willing, she’s not going to be the one.Fear not, Kamala is gonna take care of the price gouging LMAO.
Lord. Please look out for us & keep that Abortion promoter out of our political leadership. Let us find a path to make this country Great again & Healthy again! May your will be done.God willing, she’s not going to be the one.
Handgun shipping requires hazmat?I worked at a very large company that shipped a dozen semi loads of haz materials each day. These haz mat charges are BS. Each company depending on volume gets a HUGE price brake. I used the shipping dept all the time. I could ship a handgun over night for about $16.
Maybe some small vendors should band together and sue for price discrimination. Big dealer or small, what really is the difference regarding what they charge for hazmat fees? These we the standard rates for years. Then throughout the year, depending on your volume, they incrementally upped the fees. When I started shipping hazmat in May it was 22.99 then $33.00, and currently $51.00
I have called and spoken to my rep and the Small Business lead for my area and they just flat out told me no for a new negotiation for my hazmat rates.
I do hope the big guys keep getting the 23 dollar rate, but for smaller guys....it's doubt they will negotiate again.
They get discounted rates based on their volume. What Greg is talking about is small supplies that are charged standard Hazmat rates. You can be sure that those bigger companies will increase their hazmat fees in December as well.Current Hazmat @
Powder Valley $22.99
Midway $22.99
Midsouth $22.99
No.. just reloading components like powder and primers. For some reason, DOT feels shipping loaded ammunition is safer because they don't require Hazmat on these shipments.Handgun shipping requires hazmat?
So is the $ 38.25 per shipment that you recieve? We get a 25% discount off of list. So we PAY $38.25 and charge you all $19.95 and you guys still complain![]()
no but it has to go overnight to stop their own employees from stealing guns. It shows that it would cost you $75+ to ship the gun if I did not go through my work.Handgun shipping requires hazmat?
Good to know. Thank you!no but it has to go overnight to stop their own employees from stealing guns. It shows that it would cost you $75+ to ship the gun if I did not go through my work.
I've found local to have the same prices as shippers and as long as that's the case ill buy local and the companies that ship can keep there stuff
