I was at the shooting range several weeks ago shooting my 7 WSM when one if the rounds won't chamber. I set it aside and thought bullet wasn't seated properly or the case needed to be resized.
Just today I started to reload my empty cases when that one that didn't load was in the corner of the ammo box. I took it out and measured the base to ojive, and noticed the measurement was a lot longer. I thought this couldn't happened and took out another loaded round. After setting them both side by side, I noticed the bullet looked a lot bigger.
I took out my calipers and saw the bullet was a 30 cal. I don't own a 30 gun and don't have any 30 bullets.
I'm guessing since I only have 2k bullet tension, the powder must have push the bullet out. I'm glade the round didn't chamber.
Right is the 30
