Harrell tuner instructions??

You have( to keep it simple) two options.
Get ahold of Tony Purdy for his mathematical formulation to get you in the ballpark or search for the “Hopewell Method”.

you might want to also do searches on the care and cleaning of a new BR rifle/barrel/chamber because while you may think yourself experienced there are several ways to screw this up, guaranteeing you spent a lot on a gun that will never reach it’s potential. Early days are important

John Langley is my builder. I will speak with him, but also do as you suggest.

Calm day or inside.
5 shot groups @ 0 & every hundred.
Prolly get up around 400.
Choose the best between two. Start doing 50's find the best section. Do 25's find the best section. 10's same.
Now you're on to the clicks.

I found 295. That's 275 then on the 15 mark.
I also found 375 & 15 to be in the same area. So I'm a believer that the cycle rotates. Lots of different thoughts on this.

Some big name ara guys use the purty measurements and do great.
My rifle was set up this way when I bought it. I rebarreled it with an inch shorter barrel and went out on the tuner 285 to 295.

I also have a jj's slide that was put together for the correct purty length. Wish it wasn't on there but it does shoot better groups with it.

Thanks doc.
This is a good read to get you going.

John Langley called. My BR is ready !!!!!!!!! Dang that was quick.

And yes, he already has the tuner near where its gonna need to be, I'll just hafta tune my ammo.

If the idea that the tuner can make most any quality ammo ( Eley / Lapua benchrest grade ammo) shoot well???

Yes you can run most any quality ammo through your rifle and it will shoot well. Problem is "well" is never good enough.
