Hey all. Putting a Harrell tuner on a 22lr for the first time. I’ve owned plenty of 22lr, but never with a tuner. I asked a guy I know about his rings and he just said high. We know that all highs are not equal.
I tried searching, but I’m not getting any results with my search, and I know how much we all hate ring height questions. I am trying to decide if it is just worth trying rings that are higher by the same amount the tuner is over the barrel. How much higher rings are you using after adding a Harrell tuner? Or what height rings are you using? Assume 30mm scope with 52mm obj, or if even for 34mm scope with 56obj. Depends on which I choose. All my rings have usually been a “medium” height, around 1.1” in the past. I know the rail height could technically matter, but let’s assume they are all fairly close.
