Hard Plastic Cases

I came across Storm Cases im3300 by iMcases.com and they look good and have a sale going on. Does anyone have any experience with this brand of gun case. I have one similar, different brand) and closing the case takes a special process of holding here and pushing there just to get it to close. Then the pull over latches become the next challenge. Hard to close is just an under statement.

I have a couple Storm cases, a couple Pelican cases and a couple aluminum cases, I ordered a Storm case last year for a friend and it's the best of them all. This is the best of the plastic cases.

I just got one last month because the latches on the Pelicans were so difficult to open and close, and I am very, very pleased.

Larry - after using Storm, Starlight, Doskocil and Pelican, I think I'll lean towards the Hardigg Storm for hard cases. You will be happy with them.

If you email Pelican they will send you replacement latches that you can install. These new latches are much easier to open/ close.

Thanks Guys,
I think you are right about the Storm Cases being the best of the plastic hard cases. I just got a iM2050 small pistol case and I am impressed with the push button opening latches. I won't say how long it took me to figure that out, just push the button to open the latch. Latches close with the greatest of ease. Anyone thinking about a plastic hard case, check out the Storm cases and there is a sale going on right now too.

Darn you... DARN YOU ALL!!!!!! I just had to read this thread... just had too.... and of course I just spent $200 that I should not have spent.....

I'll let you all know how much I enjoy the new IM 3300 when it gets here next week. :thumb:

SongdogHunter- Thanks, will do.

FYI, apparently Pelican has now acquired Hardigg: http://pelican.com/synergy/

I didn't see any measurements to tell how big the case is.

Look on the last link on the left hand side of the page. It says "Storm Case Size chart"... it lists the deminsions there.

Thanks, guys. I just dropped $200 too... But I was looking for a decent price on a used front rest, which I STILL need!:D

Got my Storm case in the other day, and it is BY FAR the best hard case I have ever had. The latches were very easy to close. Opening took some getting used to as the button release was very new to me.
