Hard bolt lift question

The issue was an out of spec die, combined with the burr in the chamber. I'll post some pictures when I get home of the die to show what I mean. I think the previous owner honed it out a touch

Above is the redding die.
Below is the new standard rcbs ( not a small base die) I picked up earlier. Rcbs measures the same as the Forster from earlier today. There was also a used Hornady die for sale. It also measured the same as the Forster and rcbs. I'm betting if someone had a redding fls 6.5cm die it would measure the same as the rcbs. Previous owner must have polished a bit too much out, or it was a custom die, or it left redding out of spec
