Remington 700 Bolt Stop Pin "Walking Out"

I have a Jewell trigger installed in a Remington 700 action that I had rebarreled to use as a budget F-class rifle. After a couple of hundred rounds the bolt stop wouldn't function normally and had to be released by using a small screw driver. I found that he bolt stop pin had walked out enough that the bolt stop wasn't being retained. I drove the pin back in and everything functioned normally for another couple of hundred rounds.

Now it's happened again. I don't see how the pin could possibly walk completely out, but it's kind of annoying to have to revert to using a screwdriver to release the bolt.

Any way to retail the pin so the bolt stop will function normally?

If you look youll see where remington punched the edge of the hole as said above. Just take the pin out and punch it again. The main issue is incorrect bedding though when you get right down to it. Those pins shouldnt have room to come out even if very loose

Everytime i say that i get called crazy and told its not necessary on a non glued in action. If i ever built an action it would have it even if just a simple hunting action
A trigger hanger with a 700-style action does limit the size of the rear pillar. -Al
