I was lucky to have never been dishonored each time we arrived home from Vietnam. All we heard were several thousand relative and friends cheering above us as we crossed under the Golden Gate bridge. If there were protesters there they were drowned out by the cheering.God bless all who have served in both war times and peace times. Unfortunately the Vietnam Vets were the most dishonored and demeaned service vets in our country's history. This is my personal opinion as a 76 year old who was never in the service and classified 4F.
