Due to Covid restrictions, our season is off to a slow start. I still cannot get to my usual club until after Dec 15th! Another range was opening last Sunday - so I made arrangements to go there.
Took 2 "new" rifles. The 6BR - 2 loads showed promise at 100 yds during the winter - 28.2 IMR 4166 and 28.5 IMR4166 (Nearly out of Varget, no 4895) Both with Hornady 105's 10 thou jamb. After a bit of labour at the range, setting up for the season -We set up at 500 yds and dialling the scope on a bit of a guess - a 5 on the waterline. First five shots I dropped 2 into 5, fairly close to the line. Changed the load - 5 6's - 3X. ( UK scoring here - 6 is the max). First happy!
The 223 ( Tikka T3/ Tru flite/GRS stock) is new too. Only fired 10 rounds for sighting etc. 10 6s 3x. Bit raggy but the wind was swirling as the afternoon warmed up. Second happy. Matches start next week.

Forced medical treatments and vaccinations have been mandated in this country for as long as I have been alive and are accepted by the majority of the population. I still have the dime sized scar on my shoulder from my first vaccination which I received in the middle 1930s. How about the forced series of shots for babies. How many sudden death syndromes were caused by this. This is just a small number of forced treatments as I am sure I have forgotten a few.

When something becomes a national health issue, the government steps in for the good of the nation. Much like many of you, I do not like the government dictating anything to me but on the other hand I would like to be able to go out with no fear of catching a deadly disease.

I fear the adverse reactions more. Know 3 people personally that have died shortly after the shot.

In excess of 350,000,000 sots have been give in the US. the percentage of deaths after getting the shots are .0020. this only means that those folks died. There is no indication that the vaccine caused these deaths. I haven't seen a set of statistics that prove or disprove death is caused by the vaccine. A fair test would be to take 10,000 recipients of the vaccine and 10,000 who have not then compare death rates of the two test groups. Then run the tests several more times using different participants.

How do you like the GRS stock?
I've seen them online. Seem quite inovative, and priced fairly reasonably.
But haven't heard any first hand experience.

I find them really good. A shooting buddy has 3, 2 Beserks and a Hybrid. I'm plaaning a Hybrid to replace the XLR Evolution on my 6BR. They dont inlet for Barnard P's, so it will have to be a un-inletted blank. The Bifrost surprised me. It cant be bedded, but the action torques down into the stock without any issues - the fit is amazing.
They used to make a benchrest stock in association with Kelbly's, but that seems to have gone. Shame, it would have been a excellent F-class stock.

The trouble is believing the actual numbers. I’d bet shot deaths are listed as Kung flue death.
We just had a lady over the hill that died from kidney failure a few weeks after her booster.
Who knows at this point.

No one dies from the other deceases now days, only from Covid-19, just look at the reports from medical/CDC.
Yet state officials and Biden/Harris and their cohorts have all the citizens obeying their laws on restrictions, etc. all the while allowing thousands of unvaced/sick illegals flow into the USA. Not one lick of common sense in any of their brains.

Personally I have not been unduly affected by the "lockdowns". The way I look at it is-- I was born free and I will live free. Just do what I have always done. On a side note I work outdoors in the Energy Fields. But all this has brought the old saying " I would rather die standing than serve on my knees" to the front of my mind. I too, am old enough to remember the many vac's that I took as a kid.. They were required but I am thankfull for everyone of them. I have no idea of how much my health and that of others was spared I am sure that they saved many lives
